This delightful image shows The Queen and Ronald Reagan riding together in Windsor Castle in 1982. The Queen is shown on her beloved horse, 'Bermese', the same mare she was riding at the Trooping of the Colour the year before when a blank was fired into the crowd, causing the horse to try to bolt but for the Queen's wonderfully calming manner and expert control. President Reagan is shown riding an 8-year-old stallion named 'Centennial'. Both horses were a gift to The Queen from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
